Spread the word
Help neighbors learn quickly and accurately. A few simple actions make a big difference on busy blocks.

Request a lawn sign
You've likely seen them around town. Request a sign and we can deliver one to your home.
Volunteer to share flyers
Choose your block or we’ll assign nearby streets; we’ll provide flyers.
Join our Facebook group
Our private Facebook group is active. Stay updated with the latest news and chat with neighbors.
Support the neighborhood effort
We’re a resident-led, all-volunteer group. Donations cover outreach (lawn signs, flyers) and independent expert review as needed. If you’re able, please contribute via Venmo to John @John-Frei-115 or contact us to pay another way.

Let your voice be heard
Local officials respond to clear, respectful, specific feedback. Here’s how to make yours count.

Share your comment on our website
Join a growing list of voices. Add your perspective so neighbors can see a range of views.
Email the Village Council
Introduce yourself, your street, and your specific concerns (traffic, school safety, flooding, height/massing). Be respectful and factual.
Events
Attending—online or in person—helps ensure a transparent, well-informed process. Strong resident participation contributed to the Council’s decision not to adopt Ordinance #4052; continued engagement matters.

All Upcoming Events
A running list of scheduled meetings related to the Kensington proposal—dates, times, and topics as posted by the Village.
Ridgewood Citizens Safety Advisory Committee Meeting
Thursday, October 16th - Time & Location TBD
This is a wonderful opportunity to share your concerns regarding the lack of safety features at the intersection of N. Maple Ave and Franklin Ave.
While they have no input of the zoning and development there, the intersection is a planned topic of discussion. A representative of the Board of Education will also be in attendance - leading to an excellent opportunity to voice your concerns on student/traffic safety.
Town Halls
Upcoming Town Hall: October 8th @ 7:30pm
Municipal Court, 4th Floor
Ridgewood Town Hall (Village Council) meetings are held in the Village Hall at 131 N Maple Avenue, with the schedule typically including two work sessions and one public meeting each month, though the frequency subject to change. You can find upcoming meeting dates, agendas, and details on how to participate by visiting the Village of Ridgewood's official calendar and Agenda Center pages. Meetings are also available to view live and online (select "Watch Live"), with the ability to participate through Zoom (subject to change by the council).
We encourage everyone to attend to voice their concerns during the open session.
As of now, there are no town halls with a dedicated agenda topic to discuss Kensington's new proposal. Once scheduled, this will be the most crucial town hall to attend.
Please check back when we have more information on the next critical town hall. In the meantime, you can join our Facebook Group for the fastest updates.
